Priorities
The University of Toronto International Strategic Plan (2022-2027) outlines the strategy for internationalization at the university. Our priorities include:
- Deepening global research and regional engagement, with an emphasis on scaling up and impact.
- Further developing the number and types of partnerships in the global south.
- Providing a world-class global education, including curricular and co-curricular innovations, and finding new ways for both international and domestic students to engage in their learning with a global mindset.
- Implementing a multi-pronged international entrepreneurship strategy, that connects students, start-ups and alumni to international opportunities.
- Measuring and amplifying the impact of our programs and activities.
- Scaling up collaborative programs and attracting large-scale multi-year support from corporate and philanthropic partners for international initiatives.
